ECSU football sends out offers

The Elizabeth City State football team has been busy delivering offers this month.
Below is a rundown of recruits that made their offers public:

In the Bonus | Shaw at Elizabeth City State basketball

The Elizabeth City State women’s basketball picked up its first Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association win of the season with a 51-45 decision over Shaw on Tuesday.

Following the game, ECSU women’s coach John Hill spoke about giving guard Jalyn Brown more responsibility by allowing her to take over the point guard position.

“She is beginning to get more and more comfortable,” Hill said. “Earlier in the year, we were playing her strictly at the two (guard). I made the decision to just go ahead and leave her at the point guard. We will live with the good and the bad with her. She’s really the catalyst to who we going to be this year.”

In the men’s game, Shaw defeated ECSU 73-67.

Elon Edwards led ECSU with 16 points, while Kyree Marshall followed with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
